ANIMAL CONTROL
DEPARTMENT
3750 HWY. 98 WEST PERRY, FL. 32347 Brianne E. Hoover, Coordinator
The Taylor County Animal Control Officer covers from Steinhatchee to a Eridu and all points in between (expect within the city limits) Hunters, if you are missing your dogs, PLEASE check with the county shelter. After hunting season we take in numerous Walker Hounds. Update your animals IDENTIFICATION on its collar. Lost pets without ID rarely get home. Check with our local feed stores, they sell collars and tags at a reasonable price. It's a lot cheaper than Impound and Shelter Fees. Pet Owners, if you plan on leaving your pet in the care of another while you out-of-town, have the caretaker call our kennel if that pet get lost or runs away. We might have it in our shelter. Remember, the county policy at this time is (5) days then "euthanization". For any information on the Animal Control Ordinances and Florida State Animal Control Laws contact this office at (850) 838-3525 I'm very interesting feedback from our citizens. I'm taking any information you might think useful to Animal Control in Taylor County, both positive and negative. My goal is to improve, update and educate. I will try to reach our community either in person, in the local paper, or by mail to contact groups, businesses and individuals who are willing to contribute towards improving not only Animal Control through Education, but also to improve and update our Animal Shelter.
Thanks for all your help
