The Taylor County Veteran Services Office assists residents who served honorably in the Armed Services of the United States to obtain any and all benefits for which they may be eligible.

This Office provides assistance to Veterans and Veterans' dependents in filing for service connected disability, pension and burial benefits as well as providing referrals for Veterans for educational and employment benefits. The Veterans' Service Officer has telephone numbers for the Veterans' Administration, VA hospitals and nursing homes, job information, home loans and other Veterans' organizations.
